SafeHaven Hospice is patient-responsive 24 hours a day, seven days a week with hospice certified nurses working with the patient’s doctor. Our Registered Nurses are experienced in every phase of hospice care.
Plan of Care
SafeHaven establishes a plan of care, approved by the patient’s doctor, which includes allowing patients to remain on prescribed medications that make the patient more comfortable. Additional pain medications related to the terminal diagnosis may also be provided as part of the care plan. Care plans are reviewed frequently and may change during patient transition
Home Health Aides
SafeHaven provides Home Health Aides which offer services such as bathing and dressing.
Family Involvement
SafeHaven involves family members as patient healthcare providers to the levels they desire and to the levels our caregivers think the family can support.
Medical Equipment
Medical Equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, over-bed tables, shower chairs, and other needed equipment prescribed by your doctor is arranged by SafeHaven Hospice.
Medical Supplies
SafeHaven arranges medical supplies and incontinence supplies.
Local
SafeHaven Hospice is locally owned and operated. We know we must earn your (the family’s) confidence and trust for each patient. We strive to bond emotionally with the patient, and we understand the family stress and frustrations during transition.
